Recipe for pizza sauce
Tasty and delicious sauce for homemade pizza. Leftover sauce can be frozen or used with cooked pasta, or other dishes or frozen for later use. One batch is enough for approximately 4-6 pizzas.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can chopped tomatoes or 6 large ripe tomatoes roughly chopped
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 clove garlic pressed
  • 1 tsp salt or to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh basil chopped
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and simmer over low heat for about 15-20 minutes.

  • Then blend the sauce and taste it, adding more salt, pepper, or sugar if necessary. Let it cool.
  • Store it in the refrigerator or freeze it until it is needed for pizza or pizza rolls.
